We sent out invites to patients for their asthma reviews as standard practice. However, if you think that your review is overdue, please contact the practice straight away to clarify the dates.
If your symptoms are deteriorating or you have any concerns, please make an appointment to the respiratory nurse or a doctor as well.
Medication Review with the Practice Pharmacist
Our practice pharmacist runs a medication review clinic on Friday mornings. A medication review is an opportunity for you ask any questions which you may have about any medication which you are on. It also allows us the opportunity to ensure that you are on the most appropriate treatment for your condition and to ensure that your medication is being monitored appropriately to maximise the safety and effectiveness of your treatment
All patients on who get medication on a repeat prescription should have a medication review every year or as recommended by the doctor. Your repeat medication slip states when your next review is due. In addition, patients who have recently been to hospital or have started new medication may also benefit from a medication review. If you think that you would benefit from a medication review, please make an appointment with our practice pharmacist.
