COVID VACCINATION STATUS
From 17 May 2021, people in England who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can demonstrate their vaccination status for international travel. A full course is currently two doses of any approved vaccine. Vaccine status will be available from:
It may take more than a week for your identity to be checked and verified so you can use this service.
If you cannot access the online services, and you have had 2 vaccines, you can request a paper letter from the NHS by calling 119. Only call 119 if you are due to travel abroad in the near future and have had your second dose more than 5 working days ago. It may take 7 working days for the letter to arrive.
This practice is not able to provide you with a letter that shows your COVID-19 vaccination status.
When you're planning your travel, check the latest information on demonstrating your COVID-19 status when travelling abroad on the gov.uk website. Make sure there is time to get proof of your vaccination status before you leave.

Appointments during Coronavirus
If you need to see a doctor or nurse for a routine appointment during this pandemic, please call the surgery and speak to reception. Please don't delay coming to the surgery if you are worried about your symptoms
UPDATE to the Electronic Prescription Service
All Prescriptions at this practice will be electronic from 12th March 2020. This will mean that patients will be able to go directly to a nominated pharmacy to collect their items, without visiting the practice to pick up a paper prescription. If you don't have a nominated pharmacy and have a prescription to collect you will be given a white token with a barcode which you will need to give to the pharmacist who will then get your prescription electronically and dispense it for you. Please let us know your preferred choice of Pharmacy and we can avoid using paper all together. It is safe and easy for patients and you only need to make the one trip to the pharmacy collect your meds!
SMS Text Messaging For Our Patients
We now send out appointment confirmations and reminders by text message directly to your mobile phone. There is no need to sign up for this service, as we send out reminders automatically. Because of this, please ensure we have the correct number for your mobile phone.
Extended GP Evening and Weekend Opening Hours
As a Rushcliffe patient you can now access routine appointments in the evenings and at weekends. These appointments are best suited for things that will not need ongoing review by your usual practice.
You can book through your surgery during opening hours for appointments between 6.30pm and 8pm in the evening on weekdays and between 8.30am and 12.30pm at weekends. If you request one of these appointments, which are outside of usual working hours you will be offered a slot with a Rushcliffe GP, Nurse or Healthcare Assistant at one of three locations across the borough. The location will depend on the day of your appointment.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL EXTENDED HOURS APPOINTMENTS ARE PREBOOKABLE ONLY BY CONTACTING YOUR OWN GP PRACTICE.
